JOB DESCRIPTION

POST TITLE                    VOLUNTEER HANDY PERSON 

RESPONSIBLE TO:           The Project Management Team 

JOB SUMMARY:              To undertake DIY Duties in and around the premises

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

1.      To comply with First Stop Darlington’s Health & Safety Policy and procedures at all times. 

2.      Carry out risk assessment for each task 

3.      Carry out small maintenance tasks in and around the building 

4.      Carry out painting and decorating tasks as and when needed 

5.      To comply with First Stop Darlington’s confidentiality policy 

6.      To undertake other duties as the commensurate with the status and purpose of the post as the Chief Officer and
         Project Co-ordinator may reasonably require.
